My story…

Is it worth the money? Yes, absolutely.
Would I do it again? 100% hands down, yes.
Do I make a whole bunch of money writing and selling quilt patterns? Nope...not even close. I have yet to turn a profit and am two years in. However...I have seen others with laser-focus do it much quicker! I have a full-time day job and 3 kids, which doesn't leave me a lot of time to devote to building my business. Could you do it faster? Sure thing!
Is it fun? Yes. I love seeing how other creative quilters bring the patterns I design to life! (Check out the pattern tester blog posts for Crystal Rose and Stellata to get a feel for how much fun that is!)
What's the best part of the course? The instruction is wonderful and helped me become a better quilt pattern writer...but the friendships forged in the small groups were priceless! I met my quilt-pattern-writing bestie Carrie (shown below with me in Hamilton during the 2023 Sonder Quilt Retreat holding our Stellata quilts!) in Elizabeth's Craft to Career Course small group, and still meet weekly with the group of 6 quilters I met in the 2022 Quilt Pattern Writing Course.
